GARY CARMICHAEL

Gary has devoted most of his adult life working with dogs and their owners. He holds a license to work and train dogs and has had this for over 25 years. Whilst living in Australia he worked for an animal transportation company called Jetpets. Through this line of work Gary experienced first hand the day to day workings of a boarding kennel and doggy daycare. This gave him the experience, knowledge and motive to set up Liberton Doggy Day Care.

IAN CARMICHAEL

Like Gary, Ian has dedicated a large part of his life working and caring for dogs. As well as being a full time fireman for Lothian & Borders Fire Services, Ian committed a lot of his spare time establishing the Retired Greyhound Trust for Scotland. Through his hard work and devotion he has helped rehome in excess of 1000 dogs throughout the years. He has since retired from the fire brigade and commits his time to rehoming greyhounds and supporting Gary with the day to day running of the kennels.
